We have all been there, searching for just the right gift for the beloved man in your life. Sometimes it can be quite a daunting task! We look high and low, left and right, and sometimes end up just getting the usual: a tie, socks, a hat.
The other day I was doing some online research to see just what was out there in the handmade market for gifts for men, and of course, I ended up on ArtFire. There are some truly amazing and unique handmade products that the men in my life would love! I thought I would create a collection of some of my favourites to share with you.
Choices galore in metal arts, leather crafts, woodworking and so many more, I do not know where to begin!

Pets are people too!
All too often when things are tight people have to start cutting expenses and reducing the cost of living. It is a very sad thing, and I so totally understand. So this year while making up my lists I included those adorable pets of mine and my families. (Both my own family and my husband's)
What did I want? Something cute, unique and preferably handmade while still being affordable for those valuable pets. I came across some really wonderful boutiques that offered just what I wanted! Treats, toys, leashes, blankets and even some clothing.
Now that I have some ideas and pages bookmarked, I am all ready to start shopping!
Oh, and while I am on the subject, here is a wonderful selection of pet related items that the curator, chamoritaessentials of this collection has put together. And she included of my own little handmade quilted pet carrier mats! Thank you Chamoritaessentials!

Shopping online
Sometimes I find it a bit frustrating trying to do a little shopping online. I mean, I usually have some idea of what I am looking for, but most times I just want to get some ideas. Since it is already August, and fall is just around the corner, I wanted to start making a list of potential gifts for the men in my life. So the other day I decided to do a quick search on unique gifts for men. There were pages and pages of links to various sites that came up, and I admit I got a little lost in them. So many choices!
I had to narrow it down a wee bit, so I included changed that to unique handmade gifts for men. Since I get so tired of the usual mass produced things like socks, and chocolates, I really wanted something different. I have quite a few men in my life, including my father, my two nephews, my son, my husband, my father-in-law, my brother-in-law and two nephews-in-law, that is a lot of gifts! I certainly need to make a list! At least now though, I do have some ideas.
