Recently I put out one of my sets of bamboo windchimes that I have been making, and found out that it is a wonderful way of tracking just when a storm is going to hit. It can be perfectly calm, no wind at all, and then suddenly a strong wind will pick up and set it to chiming. It also helps to determine just how "gusty" the wind might be.
My husband suggested that rather than calling them windchimes, to call them Storm Chimes. I decided that is a wonderful idea!
So, now that my order of satin cord has arrived, keep an eye out in my etsy shop for more "storm chimes"! I have new ideas and designs for the clappers and the wind catcher pendant on the bottom.
